Dr. Carlos Gruzman, M.D., has been the CEO of the Kaplan Medical Center and Harzfeld Geriatric Hospital since the Autumn of 2015. Previously he was the CEO of Hasharon Hospital, Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tiqva since June, 2011. For eleven years, from January, 2000, he headed the Hospitalization Services Department at Clalit HQ, Tel Aviv. Dr. Gruzman returns to Kaplan after being Deputy CEO from 1997 to 2000. He is an Intensive Care Specialist and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor. As an expert in global emergency medicine he was the Israeli field hospital medical director at the 1999 earthquake in Adapazari, Turkey. He also was on the 1994 Israeli medical team to the Jewish Community Building disaster in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the 1986 Israel Medical rescue mission to the volcano disaster in Cameroon. Dr. Gruzman’s extensive resume in hospital management are complimented by his emergency trauma field work and life-saving experience.
Dr. Gil Admon, M.D., Deputy CEO of Kaplan Medical Center since 2011. He served as deputy Director General of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Hadera and as assistant to the Director General of Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer Israel. He also served as LTC (Retired) at the Israeli Defense Forces’ (IDF) Medical Corps. Dr Admon is a certified specialist in Pediatrics and has a Medical administration degree from the Hebrew University, Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem.
Dr. Yardena Kol, R.N., Ph.D., Chief Nurse Executive of Kaplan Medical Center since 2006. She has been the Head of Department of professional planning and development, Chief Nurse Office (Clalit Health Services, Tel Aviv). She is an active member of team that develop professional guidelines in selected areas, was a member of editorial board of the national society for health information systems and developed professional classification systems as a national standards for interventions and outcomes assessment, Implementation in electronic information systems. Dr. Kol received her Ph.D degree at University of Haifa, Public Management Faculty.

For more than two decades, The Israel Friends Association of the Kaplan Medical Center, a non-profit organization, has helped the hospital to supplement its health fund budget. The KMC relies on them for much needed support, both moral and material. The Israel Friends have been most instrumental in the purchase of vital medical equipment and support for essential renovations and life saving research.
